My bento today was prepared for me after I left for work and delivered to me later, so I did not get the opportunity to photograph it. It contained homemade hummus, baby carrots, mini whole wheat pita breads, and multiseed mini rice crackers. Delicious and filling, it had 484 calories and only 5 grams of fat (there was no tahini in the hummus).
Today was my first day back to work after the holidays, so I thought a nice bento lunch might make the day more bearable. The picture quality is a bit lacking as I took the photo with my cell phone, but I think you can get the general idea.
